Audio-Technica Corporation, a Japanese company that designs and manufactures professional microphones, headphones, turntables, phonographic magnetic cartridges, and other audio equipment, has closed their M50x Series Limited Edition Color Poll with Deep Sea as its winning color of 2022.
Since 2012, Audio Technica has released nine limited-edition colors to the M50 line-up that were chosen by fans in a yearly poll. These colors are only available for one year, allowing fans to have the opportunity to add a pop of color to their setup. This year 38% of the votes decided on Deep Sea - a dramatic dark blue capturing the mysterious depths of water.
The ATH-M50x features the same coveted sonic signature as its predecessor, the ATH-M50, with the addition of three interchangeable cables. Proprietary 45 mm large-aperture drivers with rare earth magnets and copper-clad aluminum wire voice coils ensure a pure listening experience. Isolating earcups swivel 90°.
